A driver who allegedly fled from police near Kapuskasing is facing muliple charges.
On July 27 around 7 p.m., James Bay OPP says it was doing radar patrol on Highway 11 west of Kapuskasing when a vehicle was clocked going more than 50 km/h over the speed limit.
While the vehicle didn't stop for police, officers located it shortly after on a nearby ATV trail.
Aaron Sinai, a 25-year-old from Tiny Township, is charged with flight from a peace officer and stunt driving.
The accused was released by police and is slated to appear in court on Aug. 28 in Kapuskasing. They were also issued a 30-day driver's licence suspension and had their vehicle impounded for 14 days.
None of the charges have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
