Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Hospice Huronia-Tomkins House. Loving wife of the late John B. Yelland. Beloved mother of Deborah J. Yelland and the late Paul B.Yelland. June was born at home in Toronto to the late Percy and Hazel Crawford. They lived in Oro Station in June’s younger years and moved to Midland when she was a teenager. She married her husband on April 8, 1950 and had two children. June was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed playing badminton, dancing, boating, and her dogs. She was a wizard at bridge, playing often until the last few years.
Deborah is extremely grateful for the Huronia Hospice and their tremendous care and support of herself and mother at the end. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Huronia-Tomkins House would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
