It is with endless love and numerous emotions, that the family of Judy mourn her passing on July 29th 2023 in her 92nd year.
Judy was a devoted Mother, Nanny and Great nanny. Born to Robert Judson Baxter (Etowah, Tennessee) and Jean Juanita Jeffery (Midland, Ontario) on October 10th 1931. Raised by her Aunt Mabel Jeffery due to the death of her Mother post birth. Survived by Sons Jeff (Natalie) and David (Janice); Grand children, Tyler (Christine), Matthew (Katie), Hannah (Cory), Jessica (Steven), Laura and Carter; Great Grand children Hailey, Brook and Lewis and 15 Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by her parents, brother Jeffery Baxter and her husband Jim Wright and in laws Joyce Lessels (Roy), Bill Wright (Marilyn), Doug Wright (Gerry) and Richard Bruce Wright (Phyllis).
Judy graduated from Women’s College Hospital with her Registered Nursing degree in 1954. She nursed in various capacities until retirement. Judy was very community oriented and supported numerous charities.
The family would like to thank all staff at the Georgian Bay Seniors Lodge especially Stephanie, Jennifer, Shane, Vicky and Jim and also all family and friends who have expressed their sincere thoughts and condolences. An internment with celebration of life will be held at a later date.
