We sadly announce the passing of a beautiful soul, Marianne Vandyk. Passed away at home with her friends and family by her side on Tuesday April 4, 2023 in her 80th year. Loving wife of the late Harry Vandyk. Beloved mother of Ryan (Asia), Romy (Theresa), John, Greta, Derek, and Janet. Cherished Oma of Jonny, Hayden, Connor, Nyky, Zoe, Aisha, Vanessa, and Kaylem. Marianne will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters.
The love that she held for her family in Holland will be forever unmatched. The family wants to extend a big thank you to the Golden Girls for all the love and support they showed Marianne through this time. We will remember Marianne as a loving and multi talented woman. She had an incredible skydiving career, the greenest of thumbs, and a stained glass master. She always had a zest for life, lifting spirits in hundreds of classes.
The strength and resilience she spearheaded her life with, that protected her and everyone that she ever touched will continue to forever inspire her family and friends.
Arrangements entrusted to LeClair Cremation Centre Midland, Ontario. A Celebration of life will be held at Brooklea Golf and Country Club on Saturday April 22th, 1:00 - 4:00. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Christian Island Paramedic Bay.
