Lorraine Anne Shellswell, loving mother of Angela Shellswell and Nicole Shellswell sadly passed away January 30th at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland after a brave battle with cancer. Lorraine resided with her loving mother Laura Seaton in Midland, Ontario. Predeceased by her father Harvey Seaton.
Lorraine was truly a kind and compassionate person and loved nothing but wanting to look after people. She loved being with family. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with friends at her apartment.
Lorraine had a true passion for volunteering and spent a lot of her time fostering and helping to adopt cats for Furry Friends and Comfie Cat shelters.
Lorraine loved travelling to Alberta to visit family and friends. She often talked about her trip out to the East Coast of Canada.
Lorraine will be missed by her family, Wayne and Gail Seaton, Ruth Cadeau and John Stokes, Rita Vaillancourt, Donna and Stan Lavereau, Brian and Brenda Seaton, Don and Cindy Seaton and Bob Seaton. Predeceased brothers Frank and Terry Seaton. She has a very loving family and will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Dr. Anne Gannon and the medical staff for all their help and support they have provided over the years.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to LeClair Cremation Centre.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
