Passed away at home on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Sharon. Loving dad of Danielle (Mark). Dear grandpa of Meadow.
Predeceased by his parents Basile Secord and Anita (nee Deschambault). Brother of Jo-anne, Michael, Jacqueline, John (Ingrid), late Terry and brother-in-law of Brian (Robin), Cathy (George), late Michael (Brenda), Richard, Dennis (late Bernadette) and Gary (Hilda). He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bob was a proud Metis harvester and loved his moose hunting trips every year.
He was one of the first Canadians to test a new Immunotherapy drug when he was first diagnosed. This was a drug that helped him for a long time. We hope that by him doing this, it helped scientist and doctors figure out this new drug a little more. At the end of his life, he was also a tissue donator to Trillium.
Burial will take place at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Penetanguishene on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 at 2:00.
A celebration of life will follow at the Penetanguishene Legion from 2:30 to 5:00.
