Norah Rice (nee Haley)
Passed away at The Pines Nursing Home, in Bracebridge, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
Norah Rice, beloved wife of the late Gordon, in her 91st year. Dear mother of Glenn (Joyce), Steven (Cindy), Wendy (Jimmy) Mullen and Debby (Jim Fraser) Mink. Predeceased by her sons Paul (the late Priscilla) and Billy. Much loved grandma of 47 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Norah is survived by her sister in law Dorothy (the late Don) Palmer. She is predeceased by her sisters, Irene Lewis and Gladys Haley, and sister in law Mary (the late Norman) Hogg. A gentle soul that will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Avenue, on Monday, November 28 from 11 AM until the time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 PM. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery to take place in the spring. If desired, in memorial donations to The Pines Family Council would be appreciated by the family.
