It is with profound sadness that the family of Audrey Valerie Quesnelle announce her passing, at the Georgian Bay General Hospital on November 18, 2021 at the age of 84.

Daughter of the late Fred and Lena (nee Lacroix) Paradis, Audrey follows her sisters, Marie and Valerie into rest. Loving sister to Lucille, Robert and Patricia.

She will be very dearly missed by her husband, Peter Laurin and her family, including, Brenda Quesnelle (Rick Guthrie), Ken Quesnelle (Joanne Todesco), Wayne Quesnelle (Teresa), Peter Laurin (Sharon) and Sean Laurin (Andrea). Audrey was also a much loved Memere to Justin, Vanessa, Kathleen, Danika, Claire, Gabrielle and Bode, and Grande-Mere of Eliadora.

Cherished Aunt to her nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

Audrey, like her mother before her, loved nothing better than to see things grow. She shared a love of gardening with Peter, and this was always on display at their well-kept home with their flower and vegetable gardens.

Audrey was most happy spending time with her family. Through crafts, cooking, stories, chats, and trips to the big garden and the sugar bush, everyone got to share in some very memorable days.

Audrey dedicated many years caring for those with mental health and addiction issues at the Mental Health Centre (Waypoint).  She then embarked on a long and happy retirement with Peter. They wore out several cars with trips to such beloved destinations as Mackinac Island, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and a number of Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa.

We wish to express our extreme gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of Georgian Bay General Hospital for their compassionate care during her last days with us.

Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Penetanguishene on Sunday November 21 from 2-6 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, proof of full vaccination and identification is mandatory to attend visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Church , Penetanguishene on Monday November 22 at 2p.m. Cremation to follow with interment at St. Ann's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
