Raymond passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in his 87th year.
Beloved husband of Frances (nee Bracken) for 63 years. Loving father of Louise (Dan Archer), Tom (Linda Shaw) and Donna (Dean Shiner). Cherished grandfather ‘Pere’ to Pamela, Rachelle, Sarah and Carley and great-grandfather to Eric, Daphne, Aiden and Savannah. He is survived by his sisters Avela (Alan Quesnelle), Dolorese (Ron Hayes), Lorraine (late Ralph Freeman) and brothers Allan (Brenda) and David (Julie). Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Celestine Moreau, sister Prima Marchildon and brothers John, Paul and Leo and granddaughter Ashley Shiner. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive family and friends at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a funeral mass to follow at St. Anne’s Church at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to CNIB, Canadian Diabetes Association or Hospice Huronia would be appreciated.
