Passed away peacefully with family at her side at GBGH on Saturday July 8, 2023 at the age of 87.
Married in Whitehorse Yukon 68 years ago to Mick McCullough. Loving mother of Deb (Joe), Chris (Anne), Ronnie (Ben), and Greg (Lynne). Glenda’s memory will be cherished by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Glenda is predeceased by her parents John A. and Rita Farrell; her brothers, Steve and John, and sister Essie. Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law Maureen, Patricia, Robin, Judy and Evelyn.
Glenda was a 20 year volunteer at the Villa, and 10 year helper for Meals on Wheels in Port McNicoll. She was also a devoted member of Sacred Heart Church in Port McNicoll and long time member of their CWL.
Friends will be received at Carson Funeral Home –JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First St., Midland (705)-526-6551 on Thursday July 13, 2023 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Victoria Harbour on Friday July 14, 2023 at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow with interment at St. Margarets Cemetery in Midland at a later date.
