It is with deep sadness, we mourn the peaceful passing of André who was surrounded by his family at Hillcrest Village on December 21, 2023 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Fleurette Maurice (nee Robillard). Loving father of Roméo (Joanne) Maurice, Madeline (Ken) Marion, Viviane (Roger) Nolet and Priscilla (Dan) Kosabek. Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 14. Son of the late Arsene and Zelia Maurice. Brother of Arsenia Marchildon, Marie-Rose Charron, late Rita Lahaie and late Julliet Sequin.
He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Ste. Croix Church on Thursday, December 28 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Ste. Croix Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in André’s name to a charity of your choice.
