July 25, 1940 ~ July 21, 2021 (age 80)
Tom passed away July 21, 2021 in Hospice Huronia, Penetanguishene Ontario. He was born in St. Mary's Ontario July 25,1940 to Leon Thomas (Charlie) Massey and Mary (Kak) DeMeulenaere. He will be sadly missed but not forgotten by his wife Helena, children Tom Jr. in Alberta, Laurel Hooper (Roy) of Lafontaine, and Brian (Lorine) in Midland, also his twin brother Jim Massey (Brenda) in St. Mary's. He also leaves behind two grandsons Justin & Stephen Massey.
As a young man he served in the Canadian Militia and was a lifelong member of Midland Legion Branch 80. He loved antique clocks and kept his collection in working order in the home he shared with his wife. He was a model train enthusiast and his love of flying led him to build his own Challenger Ultra-Light.Tom was also an avid fisherman and loved his annual fishing trips to Kipawa Quebec with family. There will not be a funeral service, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Huronia, 948 Fuller Ave. Penetanguishene,Ontario. L9M 1G7
