Theresa Giffin (nee Cadeau), formerly Crawford), passed away peacefully, on April 4, 2024, Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH), at the age of 76, with her family by her side.
Theresa is survived by her husband of 49 years, David, and her sister Doris Cadeau. She was predeceased by her parents, Marie Anne and Theophile Cadeau, and her siblings, a baby sister, Julien, Emery, Gerald, Alfred, Ted, Angel Deschamps, Justine, Anita, Eileen Trewin, Patricia Porter, Alda Deschambault, another baby sister, and her son Tracey Giffin. She will be greatly missed by son Larry Giffin (Pierre Maranger, deceased), daughter Lisa Charlebois (David), daughter Brandy Giffin (Garry Patenaude), and granddaughters Gaetan Giffin, Mercedes Charlebois (Jordan Morin), Jade and her husband Peter Fournier, and grandson River Charlebois (Samantha Dart), and granddaughter Renée Giffin Patenaude, great grandchildren Cameron, Jayden, Nevaeh, Aquiel, and Kiely will miss the kindness and tender love of their Nana.
The family would like to thank Alex King for being such an excellent caregiver and friend to both Theresa and David, and to the doctors, nurses and staff at GBGH who assisted Theresa and the family. Cremation has already taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Midland Legion, 196 Queen St, Saturday, May 11th, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Internment will take place on Tuesday, May 28th, at 2:00 pm, at St. Anne’s Cemetery, in Penetanguishene.
