Verna Marchand of Midland, Ontario, in her 81st year. With saddened hearts we announce that Verna passed away on February 02, 2023, at the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland. She was surrounded by her husband of 61 years, Wayne Marchand, as well as her daughter, Jennifer Guest (Marc) and her son Pat Marchand (Cathy).
Verna had five grandchildren, Breanne Guest (Mat), Corinna King (Kevin), Logan Guest (Courtney), Lauryn Marchand and Paige Marchand. She also had five Great Grandchildren, Liam, Troy, Hadley, Heidi and Reid along with many nieces, nephews, friends and countless others whose lives she greatly influenced. Verna is survived by her sister Kathleen Pringle and her brother, David Doherty.
Verna was one of the most loving, caring and generous individuals you could ever meet. All of those who were fortunate enough to know her, will miss her deeply.
Currently there is no ceremony planned but there will be a Celebration of Life in the summer of 2023, as per her wishes.
