It is with sadness, but with hearts full of love, that we said goodbye to our Husband, Dad and Poppa.

Husband, best friend and adventure companion of Carol; for 53 years, they’ve hiked, biked, canoed, kayaked, camped and travelled extensively. Loving Dad and teacher to Julie MacDonald and Cindy Thor. Poppa and proudest supporter to grandchildren Marc Booth(Skylar), Liam, Jack and Bella Thor. Loved and snuggled by his furry feline companions Marshmallow and Marmalade and grand puppies Hudson and Finn.

Our large family will deeply miss the laughs and times shared; Brother Ian MacDonald(pre-deceased, Vicky), Greg MacDonald(Cheryl), Brother in-law Graham Webb (Jill), Joe Webb (Vicki), Marg Webb (Nancy) and many nieces and nephews. Cherished friends of almost 60 years, Dave & Peggy Lynn, Wayne & Pam Irving and the many friends he has made on his life’s journey.

Graham’s career with IBM was as a Senior Technical Operator, trouble-shooting issues with copiers and computers. He loved a challenge whether it was figuring out how to fix something around the house, teaching someone to fix or build something or he would design and make a tool if there was not one handy. He crafted a cedar strip kayak for Carol and almost completed one for himself that his Grandchildren will finish in his honour.

He was always available to lend a hand whether it was sandbagging during the Red River flood to sandbagging on Wolfe Island, to changing a light bulb for a friend, Graham was always ready to help where ever needed. He was the MacGyver in our life.

In his retirement he worked at the Horseshoe Resort where his MacGyver skills were called on daily. However, the retirement work he loved was at the Wye Marsh. He enjoyed his maintenance work there, tending the trails, the swans, geese and in particular his falconry work with his hawks. He developed and created the snowshoe trail at the WyeMarsh which was named in his honour.

We would like to sincerely thank all of the staff at Georgian Bay General Hospital 1 North, for their sincere and compassionate care, Thank You.

Hasta luego my friends, until we meet again.
