Passed away peacefully at the Georgian Manor with his family by his side, on Saturday August 27, 2022 in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of Leona Light (nee Quesnelle). Loving father of Tammy Light and Michelle Connor (Ekene Anazodo and the late Michael Connor). Grandfather of Brianna, Hunter, Taylor, Austin and Phoenix. Brother of Geraldine Trottier, Alvin Light (Susan) and predeceased by Doris Mayer, Patrick Light (survived by Linda) and Martin Light. Nephew of Lucille Brunelle (Raphael). Son of the late Alcime and Alida Light. Al will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Nicholls Funeral Home on Wednesday August 31st from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Church on Thursday September 1st at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment at St. Ann's Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Midland Legion Br#80, Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
