Diana "Diane" Lesperance, aged 61, passed away peacefully in her home on August 15, 2022. She passed in the hands of loved ones and coincidentally on National Acadian Day, after a 5 year long battle with pancreatic cancer. Diana was born on May 2, 1961 in Lamèque, New Brunswick, to Alfreda (nee Duguay) and Gérard Chiasson, alongside her siblings; Léa, Anne, Margot, Édith, Rachelle, Marcella, Évangeline, Marie- France, Jacques (predeceased by Marie-Thérèse and Bertrand). Although the East Coast was Diana’s roots she moved to Ontario to raise her family and set out on new adventures.
Diana was a loving mother to Christian (Cori) and Annick (Mike); an adored Memère to Haiden, Nate, Liam, Anthony, Jack, Alanah and Théodore.
Cherished Daughter in law to Philip and Ella-May. Sister-in-law to Kate and Colette (Mike). She was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Diana leaves behind her loving husband, Marcel Lesperance; a love that will never be lost and forever cherished.
Family was always her foundation in life but friendships were always considered life's greatest treasures. A lifetime of love is the greatest gift she ever gave. ❤️

As per Diana’s request, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the coming weeks.
