With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of John (Chub) Henry Lavigne at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Monday June 5, 2023, in his 90th year. Beloved son of the late Henry and Evelyn Lavigne and husband of the late Loreen Margaret Lavigne.
Loving father of: the late Patsy, Randy (Colette), Richard (Janice), Shelley (Marty) St. Amant, Rod, and Sheryl (Brian) Grenier. He will be sadly missed by those who affectionately called him Papa: Tammy, Jamie, the late Ryan, Robby (Chantal), Nathan (Heather), Danielle, Bradley, Michael, Johnathon, Lucia, Kyle, Kody (Stacy), and those who called him G-Papa: Bentley, Hunter, Tate, River, Naomi, Seth, Kali, and Mia. He will be dearly missed by extended family and friends.
Family extends thanks and appreciation for their father’s care at Georgian Manor and Georgian Bay General Hospital. As per his wishes, Cremation and a private family gathering will take place. We are at peace with memories of a life well lived and knowing Dad has what he has longed for, together again with the love of his life – our Mother!
