It is with heavy hearts and immense sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Jean Laurin, after a sudden illness. Jean passed on June 1, 2023, at Georgian Bay General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She will be deeply missed by Marc Laurin, her husband of 41 years and best friend, and daughters Danielle and Krista (Jeremy) Laurin. Dearly loved sister of Eric (Pat) and Elaine (Brian) Tubman and their children and families. Youngest daughter of the late Harry and Mae (Strath) Tubman. Sister-in-law to Annette (Don) Jones, Rene (Elizabeth) Laurin, Claude (Sandy) Laurin, Romeo (Lucie) Pilon, and the late Adele and Maurice Laurin, and their children and families. Daughter-in-law to Ligouri and the late Marielle (Maurice) Laurin.
Jean’s family will host an informal drop-in Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 12th from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Township of Tiny Community Centre, 91 Concession Road 8 East.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to LeClair Cremation Centre, Midland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jean’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Hospital for Sick Children.
