Lorna passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland, ON and is dancing once again. Greeting her at heaven’s door were her parents, George and Inez (Lee) Atlee along with siblings Kathleen Roswell, Shirley Johnson, Gary Atlee, Geraldine Clark, Valerie Lowes, Larry Atlee and her twin sister Norma Skoczylas.
Also waiting with open arms were her children Rosemarie (Charlie) Ferguson & Inez Kocielski, and the father of her children, Frank Kocielski.
She is survived by siblings George (Marg) Atlee, Sandra (Dan) Linfoot, Nina (Volker) Oelke and Debra (Dan) Crossley, and her children Sharon (Tom) Jones, Maryann (Robin) Louch, Peter Kocielski (Connie McCallum Redmond), Frank Kocielski (Armanda Lambert) and Todd Atlee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her adored sidekick, Peanut.
Lorna had the most beautiful smile and the most contagious laugh. She was always the ‘life of the party’ and we know she'll continue this as she dances her way through Heaven's gates. She was the most loveable Nanny, Mother and Friend who always made everyone feel welcomed and loved. She will be remembered for her sassiness, her excitement, watching TV ‘wrastling’, for TV Bingo every Tuesday that she insisted was pronounced ‘Chewsday’, and for the numerous phone calls we all received and will miss.
We wish Heaven had a phone, so we could hear you one more time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. A graveside service will be held in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Nicholls Funeral Home.
