Martial passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at the age of 91. He was happily married to Rita (Beauchamp) for 65 years and together they raised their family in Perkinsfield. Dad will be greatly missed by his children; Janet (Gerry), Bob (Catherine), Pauline (Howard). He was a beloved Pepère to Dominique (Daniel), Paul (Charu), Mathieu, Liam (Elle), Samuel (Sarah), Caleb(Zoe) and Élira. Pepère was so pleased to have lived long enough to play with his great-grandsons Benjamin and Patrick.
Dad prided himself on being a hard worker, a good neighbour and a loyal friend. He instilled in his children and grandchildren the importance of helping each other, of pride in a job well done and of being true to your word.
Dad, you were dearly loved and you will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held at St Patrick’s Church in Perkinsfield on Saturday, February 11 at 10:30 am.
Following the mass, friends and relatives are invited to the Tiny Township Community Centre, (91 Concession Road 8 East, Tiny, Ontario) to spend time together with the family and to celebrate Martial’s life.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
