Adam Gores passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on August 18, 2021 at the age of 86.
Adam will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Christel (nee Wickert). Dear father to his children Richard (Kim) and Tina. A loving Opa to his grandchildren Amanda (Kyle), Adam (Kelsey) and Morija. Brother to Johann (Brigita) and the late Karl (Ingrid).
Adam Immigrated from Germany at the age of 22. He met Christel a year later and started his family soon after. Adam was a millwright by trade. Both he and Christel were involved with the German Club for many years. He was also a black belt Judo champion.
A special thank you to Dr. Kotchetkov, Dr. Cohen and all the staff at RVH cancer centre for excellent care throughout his 16 year battle with cancer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to RVH cancer center or Hospice Huronia.
A memorial service will be held at Nicholls Funeral Home on Saturday August 28, 2021.
