It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Aime Gignac on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of 42 years to Anne. Loving father to Jeremy (Kathryn) Gignac, Christopher Gignac, and Gregory (Ana) Gignac. Cherished Papa to Zackary, Benjamin, and Cormac. Dear brother to Paul (Cairn) Gignac, Gerald (Ann) Gignac, Jackie (Roger) Carriere, Lynda (Raymond) Juneau, and Monique (Dave) Kingma. Aime will be very missed by all extended family, friends, and people in the community who know him.
Friends will be received at Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Sunday April 28th, from 6 – 8 p.m. A funeral mass will take place on Monday April 29th at 2 p.m. at St. Ann’s Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Aime may be made to the Georgian Bay Cancer Society.
