At 5:00pm, on Sunday, March 5th, 2023, Elizabeth Fortaleza Uyloan Germain, passed peacefully from the side of her loving husband, Tim, into the arms of her friend and saviour, Jesus Christ.
Elizabeth was born on April 4th, 1951, to Juanito and Pilar Uyloan in Manila, Philippines. She will always be remembered for her joyful smile, her love for Jesus, her organizational smarts, her generosity, her loyalty, her sense of humour, her yummy baked goods, her hospitality, and her skill at Scrabble.
She is predeceased by her parents, Juanito and Pilar, and also her brothers, William, Terrence, Romeo, and Henry.
She will be deeply missed by her brother James, and her sisters Maria Paz, Rosalinda, and Evelyn, as well as her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy (who will miss her more than words can express) as well as her daughter Rachel (Zack) and her three beautiful grandchildren, Mark, Esther, and Keira.
She will be remembered by people, whose lives she touched, around the world - from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, the USA, France, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Holland, and of course, Canada.
Her memorial will be held on April 8th, 2023, in Barrie, Ontario.
