It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Duquette, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital in his 84th year. Robert is now reunited with his beloved wife, Margaret Faye (Diane) Duquette. Loving father to Rob (Brenda), Karen (Delmore), and Stephen (Lynne). Cherished Papere to Kayla, Cassie, Adam, Matthew, Nathan, Laura, Andrew, Emily, and Alexandra. Great-Papere to Olivia, Emmett, Caleb, Kyra, Neveah, Sophia, and Aliyah. Dear brother to Richard (Patsy), Dorothy (Wilfred), brother-in-law to Halina, and Ferdinand "Fuzzy". Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Violet and siblings, Delores, Maurice, and Charles. Robert will be very missed by all family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Nicholl's Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave. Midland, on Wednesday June 21 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, June 22 at St. Margaret's Catholic Church starting at 9:30 am with an interment to follow at St. Margaret's Cemetery. If desired, donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
