Peacefully passed away at home with her family on January 9, 2022 in her 97th year. Her love of life and family guided through her many wonderful years. A free and adventurous spirit who will be deeply missed. She is predeceased by her husband Theo of 45 years. Loving mother of Patricia, John (Susan), Astrid (Peter) and Angela (Ted). Cherished Nana of Kirsty (Torsten), Jillian (Allen), Eric, Peri, Marina, Taya, Allyson, Halli and Justina and grand-nana of Skylar and Leif. Willy left the Netherlands when she was 27 years old as an RN to work in New Zealand where she met Theo. Together they immigrated to Melbourne Australia where three of her four children were born. The adventure continued when the family immigrated to Agincourt, Ontario in 1962. Here her last child was born. Together Willy and Theo made a life together with their four children. When they retired she lived for 20 years in Stouffville surrounded by her children and nine grandchildren. In 2016, she moved again and spent the remainder of her life on her beloved Georgian Bay.
