In her sleep at Hospice Huronia, Tompkins House, on February 28, 2022, far too soon in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of Jim Heinbuch, daughter of Martin and Geraldine Corsano, awesome sister to Robert Corsano (Donna Barber), Karen Corsano (Steven Murdoch) and Donna Corsano (Peter Delouw). Sister-In-law to John Heinbuch (Joanne Heinbuch) and Dave Heinbuch (Brenda McKee) and fun aunt to Ben Corsano, Dana Murdoch, Patrick Murdoch, Emma Heinbuch & Austin Heinbuch.
Born in Toronto on October 30, 1959, Sandra enjoyed life with a great sense of humour and boundless energy. Sandra’s generous and gregarious spirit radiated a unique brilliance that illuminated the world wherever she went. She had an innate ability to tell a story that would leave everyone laughing, often ending with “you can’t make this stuff up!” An avid skier and hiker, Sandra could also sew anything she set her mind to. She worked as a bookkeeper and did taxes for most of her friends and relatives. Sandra and her husband Jim were a great team, who loved to spend time at the cottage enjoying fishing, kayaking, and walking their dogs on the great trails they created.
They were also do-it-yourselfers who were able to take on many home improvement projects. Sandra greatly enjoyed cosy evenings by the woodstove in the basement with Jim, at their home in Tiny Township. For those who knew Sandra, their lives were made better as a result, and we will all miss her. Sandra felt that she had a great life, and would not want anyone to be sad over her passing. Remember her for the times she made you laugh, got you outside exercising in the woods, or offered some great advice. Tell a Sandra story and your tears will turn into laughter. That would make Sandra happy, and be a great way to honor her memory.
