We are sad to announce the passing of Jonathan Prescott Copegog "Scott", on Thursday, August 10th, 2023 at Georgian Bay General Hospital at the age of 52. Scott leaves behind his loving mother, Phyllis Copegog, and his siblings Susan, Kenneth and Pauline. Cherished god-father to Hailey Towns, and Luke Monague. He will be very missed by his nephews Isaiah, Caleb, Joel and Cohen. Scott is predeceased by his son Sagon and his brother Jason. He will be fondly remembered by all extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Monday, August 14th, starting at 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church (Christian Island). A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 15th at 12:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Family and friends are welcome to attend the Recreation Centre after the service for a reception.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in memory of Scott to the Chimnissing Cancer Fund or the Niijii Fund.
