It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of William Cameron (Bill).

Bill, a lifelong resident of Port McNicoll, earned his wings Jan. 25. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home at the age of 76.

He was a devoted husband to Penny, loving father to Scott (Allie) and John (Stacey), proud grand-père and pops to Nicholas, Chanel, Jessalyn, Max, Aubrey and Hazel. Billy was the son of the late Lloyd and Ella Cameron. He was a dear brother to Faye, Anne, Mickey, Connie, Mary Jane (John), the late Allan Cameron and John Stamp. He was a much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bill’s many friends will miss his stories.

He loved working in the yard and feeding the birds. He and Penny’s beautiful gardens were the result of many hours of hard work but they loved it.

He didn’t miss watching football and baseball. Having Bill’s celebration on Super Bowl Sunday seems appropriate. Always a big sports fan.

A Celebration of Life will take place Sunday, Feb. 11 at Marina’s in Port McNicoll from 1 to 4.

If desired, in memory of Bill memorial donations may be made to Port McNicoll Lions Club.
