Passed away peacefully following a difficult battle with cancer on June 21, 2023. He was 62.
Darrell is survived by his best friend and wife, Carol Baker.
He also leaves his kind and helpful stepdaughter, Shelley Lesperance, her husband Tim, and his beloved granddaughter, Sierra Snell.
He is now joined with his mother, Joyce, his grandparents, and his old friends Benson, Oliver and Buckwheat.
Darrell and Carol are grateful to the Duivenvoorden family for their generosity and kindness during this time.
Thanks also to the staff, doctors and nurses at Georgian Bay General Hospital for their superb care.
Darrell did not want a service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
