Bob passed away quietly, at 73 years of age, at home in Port McNicoll, on July 12th, 2021.
Born, Robert Frederick Bailey, to Mary (Woodbyrne) & Fred, Bob was the second eldest of 5 Bailey children. Shirley (Davidson), Michael, Kevin & Jim. A proud uncle to numerous nieces and nephews who loved him.
Continuing the Bailey family tradition of working on the railroad, Bob was a proud hogger for CN & Via Rail for many years where he made many life long friends and where he met the love of his life, Susan.
Bob was married to Susan (Laplante), who passed away on January 20th, 2021. Bob was devastated & heartbroken when he lost Susan.
Pre-deceased by his son Rob, Bob was a proud grandfather to Robbie Jr. (Kaitlyn) and adored his great grandson, Colton.
Happiest when surrounded by family and friends, Bob enjoyed raising a glass of his favourite beverage, Alexander Keith’s (AK’s) and talking about old times.
Thanks to all the neighbours and friends who were always looking in on Bob, driving him to appointments, walking his beloved dog Bear and just spending time chatting with him on the front porch.
Susan & Bob are back together now & forever.
