The high school senior girls volleyball season got off to a smashing success Wednesday with a kickoff tourney at Georgian Bay District Secondary School.
Besides the host team, five teams participated in the day-long tournament held in the Midland school’s double gymnasium.
Joining GBDSS' team for the day were players from École secondaire Le Caron in Penetanguishene, St. Theresa’s Catholic High School, Elmvale District High School, Nottawasaga Pines Secondary School in Angus and Barrie’s Unity Christian High School.
