People often leave 'treasures' along local roads rather than just taking them to the local land-transfer station.

MidlandToday welcomes letters to the editor at [email protected] or via the website. Please include your full name, daytime phone number and address (for verification of authorship, not publication). The following letter is in response to a column titled Kick it from the curb. 'Your junk is not someone else's treasure', published March 19.

Excellent, relevant and timely and perhaps even overdue.

My husband picks up bags of garbage along the snowmobile trail behind our home several times a year.  Soon it will be time again!

Thank you for this well done item in MidlandToday.
