MidlandToday welcomes letters to the editor at [email protected] or via our website. Please include your daytime phone number and address (for verification of authorship, not publication). The following letter was submitted in response to an article that appeared in MidlandToday Nov. 21 entitled 'Stuck with $200 bill, Tiny retiree says township doesn't need new library'.

In G.W. Sarvis's article on the Tiny library idea, it is interesting that at the end of the article, it was said by Councilor Steffen Walma "there has been no council direction to build a new library."

And yet in her previous article, "We know people want a library. We will be building a library," said Tiny Mayor Dave Evans.

Let's support our great existing libraries and not build new arenas, libraries and offices when the taxpayers of Tiny don't want or need them.
