Dear Editor,
Bus routes and free rides sound wonderful if seniors can actually access where they stop. There is no service in Sunnyside or the Midland Point area. We pay taxes like everyone else, but no service.
I have asked about this and they say there’s not enough ridership.
Based on what? I have never seen more than a handful of riders on any bus most times.
Why do others get bus service and not us? I, as a senior, would have to walk to Victoria street - up and down Sunnyside hill. Try that at 73!
