Dear Editor,

Eliminating the cost of passenger vehicle license plate stickers will challenge the Ontario Treasury to transfer millions of dollars to our municipalities for much needed road maintenance and renewal, leading to higher property taxes to fill the funding gap.

Not one single Ontarian is complaining about the $120 annual fee.

Clearly, this is a manufactured issue or ploy for attempted re-election by the Ford government.

Hopefully, Ontarians will not be fooled by this political trickery!

Ontarians deserve a government ruled by intelligence and not ignorance.
