Having read the latest articles regarding an extension to the developers toward bringing forth a proposed agreement and perhaps proceeding to a sale of the property, I cannot believe council would do this without public consultation.

A few years ago, council of the day made an excellent decision to buy the property. To now shut the community out of the planning process and proceed with a sale to a developer is absolutely wrong.

It is currently open-space parkland and a window on Georgian Bay for the community. The notion of selling any portion of the land needs to be carefully reviewed with the people of the good ship Midland.
