Debora Kelly is the editor of NewmarketToday and AuroraToday. She is an award-winning journalist and communications professional who is passionate about building strong communities through engagement, advocacy and partnership.
Debora has been recognized with international, national and provincial awards over three decades for reporting, column and editorial writing. The publications under her leadership as editor in chief were annually honoured with top international, national and provincial awards, including two Best Community Newspaper in North America awards by the Local Media Association.
She also has enjoyed serving in volunteer leadership roles for local non-profit organizations and has been honoured by the Character Community Foundation of York Region with a Character Champion award.
