Darren Taylor

Darren Taylor is a news reporter and photographer in Sault Ste Marie. He regularly covers community events, political announcements and numerous board meetings. With a background in broadcast journalism before making the jump to digital media, Darren has worked in the media since 1996. Born and raised in the Sault, he has a B.A. from the University of Toronto (specializing in 20th century British, European and U.S. history, 1992) and community college diplomas in Visual Arts (Sault College, 1987) and Broadcast Journalism (Dean's Honour List, Loyalist College, 2000). Darren especially enjoys writing SooToday's What's Up Wednesday feature stories and anything to do with Police, Fire, the military and veterans.
