Two arrested after police respond to break-in at Cambridge business

Two men are facing several charges after Waterloo regional police said they caught them attempting to break into a Cambridge business early this morning.

Just after midnight, police responded to a report of an in-progress break-and-enter at a business in the area of Conestoga Boulevard and Sheldon Drive.

Upon arrival, police located a male outside the business, and another male hidden inside the fenced compound of the business.

As a result of the investigation, the two men, a 44-year-old and a 52-year-old, were arrested and jointly charged with break and enter with intent to commit indictable offence.

The 44-year-old was also charged with possession of break-in instruments and arrested on an outstanding warrant for several offences including assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000, and break and enter.
