A Tiny Township resident was charged with impaired driving early Monday afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police say they were tipped off through a traffic complaint telling them about the “driving behaviour” of a person behind the wheel of a silver-grey BMW on Highway 93 just before 12:30 p.m.

About a half hour later, officers tracked down a vehicle that matched the description just north of Wyebridge.

Timothy Fagan has been charged with operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

In addition, the 60-year-old’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for a week.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on April 11.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
