Three people are facing charges after allegedly stealing a vehicle during what was supposed to be a test drive in Springwater Township yesterday.

On Monday at about 4:10 p.m., Huronia West OPP received a report of a vehicle theft in the area of Sunnidale Road and Wilson Drive, just outside the Barrie city limits.

When officers arrived, the victim told them the vehicle had been advertised for sale online and, during a test drive, police say the suspects forced the victim out of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

At about 11:45 p.m., Nottawasaga OPP officers spotted the vehicle being driven in Beeton. Three occupants were arrested.
