Teen motorcyclist killed in multi-vehicle crash in Bracebridge

A teen was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday night in Bracebridge.

Police say a 16-year-old from Cloyne, ON, was operating a motorcycle on Muskoka Road 117 near Springdale Park in Bracebridge at around 7:15 p.m. Monday when the incident occurred.

According to a media release from the Bracebridge detachment of the OPP, there was a multi-vehicle collision involving "passenger vehicles and two motorcycles" that led to the fatality.

The OPP, Muskoka paramedics and Bracebridge firefighters responded to the incident.

Muskoka Road 117 was closed in both directions while the OPP technical collision investigators completed their investigation; all lanes have since reopened.
