INNISFIL — The search resumed this morning for a young woman who fell overboard from a boat Thursday afternoon in Lake Simcoe.

The 21-year-old Scarborough woman was touring with friends on Kempenfelt Bay when she fell into the water around 3 p.m., according to South Simcoe police.

The search is focused on Kempenfelt Bay in an area near the government dock in Innisfil's Big Bay Point area.

Police are also using a drone to scour the area from above.
