Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advise of the following Road Opening:

Location:  KIng Street and Yonge Street in the Area of Little Lake Park

Reason- Black Lives Matter March- March has been completed

Time Re-Opened: 7 p.m.

Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advise of the following Traffic Slowdown Area

Highway: King Street and Yonge Street in the Town of Midland

Location: King Street North from Little Lake Park Road (East) to Yonge Street and West on Yonge Street King Street to the west entrance of Little Lake Park Road which is just west of Eighth Street in the Town of Midland

Brief Description of Event:  Black Lives Matter March

Motorists should expect possible traffic slowdowns on the above-noted roadways as march participants on foot will be on the sidewalks and possibly on the roadways. Motorists are advised to be cautious of pedestrians in this area and are advised if needed to take Hugel Avenue instead of Yonge Street and Midland Avenue instead of King Street in those possibly affected areas. Little Lake Park Road will also have a number of pedestrians during the march.

The estimated duration of Road Advisory: until 2000 hours June 20, 2020
