OPP seek public assistance in Midland mischief investigation

Police are seeking help from the public in solving what they are calling a case of mischief after a dugout at a local Midland ball diamond was spray painted.

The Southern Georgian Bay OPP said the spray painting of images was done at the Gord Dyment baseball diamond area of Tiffin Park.

Officers responded to reports at 2:20 p.m. Nov. 4 from a community member reporting the incident.

The handiwork appears to have been done overnight, police said in a news release.

Police are asking residents near Tiffin Park to check their video surveillance systems for suspicious activity around the time of the incident.
