No injuries reported after blaze at Tiny home

Fire crews arrived on the scene to a 'well-involved structure fire' on Methodist Point Road

No injuries were reported following a major blaze at a Tiny Township home late Monday.

Tiny Township deputy fire chief Roree Payment said 24 firefighters arrived at the scene with six apparatus to battle the blaze of the "well-involved structure fire" on Methodist Point Road.

Payment said the call was received at 11:39 p.m. after the homeowner, who resided in another home on the same property, noticed the blaze.

"The fire was well involved on the arrival of crews who fought the fire using water from our tanker trucks," Payment said, noting the home was heavily damaged, but a dollar loss and cause hasn't yet been determined.

"However, it is not being treated as suspicious."
