Tiny man faces impaired charges after tossed liquor bottle complaint

Just after noon Wednesday, police received a call about someone tossing a liquor bottle out of a parked, but running, GMC pickup truck in Midland.

A Southern Georgian Bay OPP officers arrived at the Jones Road scene a short time later, locating the suspect vehicle and spoke with the driver.

In relation to the incident, police charged Clarence Petten, 66, of Tiny Township with impaired driving and over 80.

The accused also saw his licence suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for a week. He appears in court March 21 to answer to the charges.
