Victim in weekend shooting at Brampton, Ont., restaurant dies of injuries

A 30-year-old man who was shot at a Brampton, Ont., restaurant has died.

Peel Regional Police say emergency services were called to the restaurant just before 1:30 a.m. last Saturday.

Officers arrived to find a man inside the restaurant with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say the victim, identified as Ricardo Bryan, was taken to hospital but died later of his injuries.

Investigators with the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau say they believe Bryan was the intended target.

Police say they have no suspects and are asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact them.
