It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Wright (nee Bellisle) at Georgian Manor on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the age of 91. Rita lived all of her life in Penetanguishene, and is predeceased by her husband Russell Wright, parents Alida and Arthur Bellisle, and siblings Germaine Ambeau and Larry Bellisle. Loving mother of Randy Wright (Christy). Amazing Nanny to Mallory (Andy) and Lauren (Braden). We are blessed that she was able to enjoy her great-grandchildren Owen and Lincoln.
Rita will be fondly remembered by her dear friend Donna Tucker. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the compassionate care provided by Dr. Gannon and the staff and volunteers on the Tamarack Unit at Georgian Manor. You made her difficult last years comfortable and secure, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
At Rita’s request there will no funeral or celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Midland OSPCA or CLH Developmental Support Services.
